The 2009 Greater Reading Film Festival was a success, and the 2010 festival is shaping up to be biggest and best festival yet.

Festival News

Brian Culbertson to host special theatre screening on March 26

Culbertson will host a special theatre screening of his recently released CD/DVD Brian Culbertson Live From The Inside, featuring Ray Parker Jr., Dave Koz, Eric Marienthal, Michael Lington, Eric Darius and Brian's father.

The one-time-only screening is set for Friday, March 26, 4 p.m., at the RC/Reading Movies 11 & IMAX.

Following the screening, Brian and his father, Jim, will host a meet-and-greet with fans. Tickets are $10 and are on sale at the theatre and online.


Berks Jazz Fest Countdown Screening: CHOPS, Wednesday, March 10

CHOPS follows Florida's Douglas Anderson School of the Arts as they compete
with elite bands from all over the country in the prestigious Essentially Ellington Festival.

Following CHOPS will be a special Berks Jazz Jam performance, hosted by Mike Eben, with special guest musicians Larry McKenna on tenor sax, Tony Miceli on vibes, Dave Brodie on bass and Dan Monaghan on drums.

Bring instruments to be part of the jam, or come to learn! Open to all ages.

Free community event at the Miller Center for the Arts, 6 p.m. Part of the Berks Jazz Fest Countdown.

A cynical Hollywood director scouting locations for his next film is surprised to find that one town’s community pride, quirky characters and awesome locations are just what he needs to create the perfect picture.

Admission to the premiere screening is free, and will be hosted by GRFF Festival Director Chris Cannon.  The debut will be followed by a special post-film reception at the Goggleworks, at 3 p.m., hosted by GRFC Chairman Santo D. Marabella.
